Community in Hyannis

We've been together here on the Cape, in Hyannis, Massachusetts, since 1991 and number about 50 people. We live in households where we share the responsibilities and needs of the day. We also run the Common Ground Café on Main Street, where we serve delicious, wholesome food. Hyannis is famous for tourism and thus is a good location to meet people from all over the world. We also have a tree care business we call Forest Keepers where many of our men are able to work together daily to help support our growing family.

We are nothing fancy or showy but a humble people who depend on our God. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Once we were not a people, lost and alienated, but now He has gathered us together into His family, where we are set free to love the way He loves. Because of the power of true forgiveness we live a life in harmony with one another. We have given up everything to follow our Master, the Son of God. His name is Yahshua. With all our hearts we want to do our part to see His kingdom and His justice established on the earth; we are learning that this begins right here at home with the ones around us.
