The Commonwealth of Israel

At one time the God of Heaven found a man whom He could call a friend. That man was Abraham. God made a promise to him which is not yet fulfilled. It is for this hope, and to bring about the fulfillment of this promise, that we serve our God night and day.

The Foolish Nation

God's plan to win back a remnant of Abraham's wayward descendants and to give them the promised land depends on raising up a spiritual Israel of Twelve Tribes amongst the gentiles.

One of the most wonderful men who ever lived — warm, kind, compassionate. These were all words you could use to describe him. What was so unique about this man that God chose him out of all the people on earth to start His nation?

What was the church supposed to be like? The Hebrew word "edah" usually translated "congregation" in most Bibles also means beehive or community. This is far different than coffee and doughnuts in the fellowship hall — it is a full-time life.

Rekindling the Fire
