Community in Klosterzimmern
Location
In the summer of 2000 we were able to obtain the large farm estate of Klosterzimmern in the center of the Ries Valley in Bavaria. This beautiful farm is like a small village, with quite a few residential houses, barns and other buildings which we desire to restore to its original glory. These barns will hopefully soon house our health food store and bakery / café. The surrounding 30 acres of land enable us to grow a large variety of vegetables and grains. Soon we will have goats, cows, ducks and other animals to make this a "real" farm. We want to become self-sufficient in every way and even produce all of our own electricity by alternative means.
Our daily work on the farm buildings reminds us of the work of restoration that is taking place in our hearts every day. Our Master Yahshua, the Messiah, is replacing our heart of stone (with all its selfish desires) with a heart of flesh that is able to love unconditionally. We desire our common life to be a foretaste of the next age, when God’s Kingdom will come on the earth to end all injustice, greed and strife.
